Everything you need to know about MeBucket

Files are automatically deleted after 48 hours. No exceptions. Once they're gone, they're gone forever. So download what you need ASAP!

💡 Pro tip: This also means your storage quota resets every 48 hours as old files expire!

100% free. No hidden fees, no premium tiers, no BS. We built this for students and creators who need simple file sharing.

Currently 10MB per file. Perfect for images, docs, videos, and most stuff students need to share.

Nope! No signup, no login, no passwords. Just choose a username, upload, and share. That's it.

Not yet! But it's on our roadmap. For now, files auto-delete after 48 hours anyway.

Anyone with your share link can access the file. Don't share sensitive stuff unless you trust the recipient. Think of it like a public Google Drive link.

Absolutely! MeBucket works perfectly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Upload and share from anywhere.

All file types! Images, videos, PDFs, docs, zip files, code files - whatever you need to share.

We're actively working on password protection, custom expiry times, and file management. Follow us for updates!

10MB total storage per username (not per folder or file).

Example: If you upload 3 files (4MB + 3MB + 2MB), you've used 9MB. You can only upload 1MB more until files expire.

10MB is roughly:

  • • ~10 high-quality photos (1MB each)
  • • ~5 PDF documents (2MB each)
  • • ~2-3 short videos (3-5MB each)

10MB per individual file. You can't upload a single file larger than 10MB, even if you have storage space available. Need larger files? Premium plans coming soon with higher limits!

New uploads will fail with a "quota exceeded" error. Here's what you can do:

  • Wait for expiry: Files auto-delete after 48 hours, freeing up space
  • Use a different username: Each username gets 10MB
  • Delete old files: You can always delete and upload new files
  • Upgrade to premium: Coming soon with better plans

Yes, for anti-spam protection: 20 files per hour per device. This prevents abuse while giving normal users plenty of room. If you hit this limit, wait an hour and try again. The storage limit (10MB total) is usually the bigger constraint anyway.
